How to Set Up IPTV on a Firestick in the UK (2026 Guide)

The Fire TV Stick is the most popular streaming device in Britain, and it is a good home for IPTV once it's set up properly. This guide walks through the whole process on a current Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max, then covers the settings most people miss.

You'll need your British IPTV welcome message to hand. It contains your username, password, server URL and the player app link.

Step 1: Turn on Developer Options

Amazon hides the option that lets you install apps from outside the Appstore. Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About, highlight your device name and press the select button seven times. A message confirms that you are now a developer, and Developer Options appears in the My Fire TV menu.

Step 2: Install Downloader
