London has more Premier League clubs than any other city, which makes it the most expensive place in Britain to follow your team the traditional way. A North London household needs both Sky Sports and TNT Sports just to see every televised Arsenal or Spurs match. British IPTV puts all of them, plus BBC London and ITV London news, into one channel list with no 18-month contract.
Most London homes are flats, where thick walls and dozens of neighbouring Wi-Fi networks fight for the same airwaves. If your router is in the hallway, use the 5 GHz band, add a mesh point near the TV, or run a flat Ethernet cable under the carpet. Full-fibre providers such as Hyperoptic and Community Fibre give you a fast, low-latency line that is ideal for 4K football on a Super Sunday.
British IPTV works with every broadband provider in London, including BT, Virgin Media, Sky Broadband, Hyperoptic, Community Fibre. About 10 Mbps per HD screen or 25 Mbps for 4K is plenty, but a steady line matters more than a fast one. Connect your Firestick or box to the router with an Ethernet cable (Firesticks need a small adapter), or use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band and keep the router out in the open rather than in a cupboard. If the router is at the other end of the house, a mesh system or powerline adapters make a big difference. Our buffering guide covers the rest.
Live sport is the main reason London households move to British IPTV. Every plan includes the channels that show Arsenal and Chelsea, plus the rest of the Premier League, EFL, Champions League, rugby and cricket on Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Premier Sports. Open the channel ten minutes before kick-off so the stream settles, and read how to watch the Premier League on IPTV for more tips.
