Newcastle United's European nights have made Tyneside a TNT Sports town as well as a Sky Sports one, and Sunderland fans just down the road follow their own team just as closely. British IPTV includes every channel that shows them, together with BBC Look North and ITV Tyne Tees, with no contract to sign.
Champions League and Europa League matches in the UK are shown on TNT Sports, often at 8pm on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday when home broadband is at its busiest. If your picture slows down at that time, plug into the router, switch to the 5 GHz band, or pick the HD stream rather than 4K. Our buffering guide covers the rest.
British IPTV works with every broadband provider in Newcastle, including BT, Virgin Media, Sky Broadband, TalkTalk, Hyperoptic. About 10 Mbps per HD screen or 25 Mbps for 4K is plenty, but a steady line matters more than a fast one. Connect your Firestick or box to the router with an Ethernet cable (Firesticks need a small adapter), or use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band and keep the router out in the open rather than in a cupboard. If the router is at the other end of the house, a mesh system or powerline adapters make a big difference. Our buffering guide covers the rest.
Live sport is the main reason Newcastle households move to British IPTV. Every plan includes the channels that show Newcastle United and Sunderland, plus the rest of the Premier League, EFL, Champions League, rugby and cricket on Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Premier Sports. Open the channel ten minutes before kick-off so the stream settles, and read how to watch the Premier League on IPTV for more tips.
