UK TV Channels on British IPTV: BBC, ITV, Sky & More

Channel counts in the tens of thousands make for good headlines, but the question that matters is simpler: are my channels there, and can I find them? This article walks through the UK channels in the British IPTV line-up, group by group.
The public service channels
BBC One, BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4 and Channel 5 sit at the top of the UK group, numbered 1 to 5 just like Freeview, so the habit you've built over the years still works. BBC Three, BBC Four, BBC News and the ITV and Channel 4 family channels (ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, E4, More4, Film4, 5USA and others) follow.
Sky and pay-TV entertainment
The channels people usually pay Sky or Virgin for are all included: Sky Atlantic for HBO and Sky originals, Sky Max, Sky Showcase, Sky Witness, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries and Sky History, plus UKTV's Dave, W, Gold, Alibi and Yesterday, Comedy Central, Discovery and National Geographic.
Regional channels for every nation
- Scotland: STV, BBC One Scotland, BBC Scotland and BBC Alba.
- Wales: BBC One Wales, ITV Cymru Wales and S4C.
- Northern Ireland: BBC One Northern Ireland and UTV.
- England: regional BBC One and ITV1 news variants, from London to the North East.
Because IPTV isn't tied to a transmitter, you can watch any region. Plenty of our customers in London keep STV or BBC One Wales in their favourites. See United Kingdom IPTV for more on regional TV.
Films
The Sky Cinema channels (Premiere, Action, Comedy, Family, Thriller and more) and Film4 are in the films group. On top of that, the on-demand library holds around 248K films and series to watch whenever you like.
Kids
CBBC and CBeebies, plus Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, Disney Junior, Sky Kids and Pop. Most player apps let you set a separate profile for children with only these channels visible.
News
BBC News, Sky News, GB News and international news channels such as Al Jazeera English and CNN International, along with Bloomberg and CNBC for business news.
Ireland and the wider world
An Ireland group carries RTÉ One, RTÉ2, Virgin Media One and TG4, useful in Northern Ireland and for Irish families across Britain. Further down are groups for India, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Turkey, the Arab world and many more, so multilingual households can watch home TV on the same subscription.
Getting around quickly
With so many channels, a few minutes on day one makes a big difference: add your top 15-20 channels to favourites, hide groups you'll never use, and learn the guide button on your remote. Our IPTV main channels page shows the full UK grouping, and the best IPTV apps guide explains favourites and profiles in each player.
